Donate Goods

Sauti Yetu’s clients are often struggling to meet basic needs as they rebuild their lives. Many urgently need assistance with food, clothing, personal care items, and transportation.

Unfortunately we have little space in our offices to accept food and clothing donations in our Bronx and Staten Island on a limited basis. However we are always in need of gift card donations which provide some immediate relief to our most vulnerable families who lack basic necessities.

We gladly accept the following in-kind donations at any time:

  • Gift cards for food, clothing, school supplies, and/or toiletries. Cosco, BJs, Target, Walmart, Kmart, Marshalls, Ross, or Tjmax.
  • Metro-cards. Single, double and or weekly metro-cards
  • Pre-paid cell phones (please only phones that are pre-paid with minutes on them), phone cards for additional minutes
Gift cards or pre-paid cell phones can be mailed or dropped off in person anytime during normal business hours. If sending by mail please address to Sauti Yetu Center for African Women, Inc, Social Services and enclose your name, phone number and e-mail address so we can send you an in-kind donation receipt. Please mail directly to the office you wish to donate to. All donated gift cards and phones will go directly to families and clients need.

Sauti Yetu also accepts in-kind contributions including office furniture, equipment, and other business supplies that can support our efforts to protect immigrant women and families as they strive to rebuilt their lives in the New York City.
