The African Girls Empowerment
Program ( AGEP )

Based on our work supporting the positive development of African immigrant girls ages 12 to 24, we recognize that young people need a community where the leadership and engagement of young women is encouraged and valued.
Therefore, AGEP works to engage the leadership of young women on issues they identify and that impact their lives most deeply.
These issues include:
  1. Providing equal access to education; and,
  2. Providing a platform for their leadership development.
  3. Providing issue-based youth advocacy.
  4. Providing access to research and training.
